Faith Is the Best Wealth

In Buddhist practice, what is the decisive factor? It is faith. If we wish to receive the blessings of the Dharma and the blessings of our guru, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas; if we wish to penetrate wisdom, realize emptiness, and benefit sentient beings—then it is indispensable to generate genuine faith in the Three Jewels within our hearts. Faith not only guides our practice but also enables us to maintain firm resolve in daily life and to resist wrong views and delusion. How can we cultivate faith? Through listening, contemplating, and meditating on the teachings, and through praying to our guru, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas.
