QA
Columbia University

This took place on April 19, 2013, following Khenpo Sodargye’s public lecture at Columbia University. He engaged in an in-depth dialogue with Columbia professors and students. The questions focused on several key topics: the obstacles to practicing compassion in daily life, the core spirit of the Lhime Movement, how different Buddhist traditions can respect one another, the preservation of Tibetan culture in a globalized world, the dissemination of Dharma in the era of new media, and the relationship between promoting vegetarianism in Tibet and economic development. Khenpo offered clear and insightful responses, allowing the timeless wisdom of Buddhism to engage in a vivid and meaningful dialogue with contemporary academia and media environments at a world-class university.
