Buddhist Philosophy of Emptiness

elaborated on the concepts of emptiness and Buddha-nature (tathāgatagarbha) in Tibetan Buddhism. He introduced reasoning methods such as the Five Great Madhyamaka Arguments to establish that all phenomena are empty, emphasizing that emptiness is not 'nothingness' but rather emptiness of inherent existence within dependent origination, while simultaneously possessing the luminous Buddha-nature. He reminded intellectuals to cultivate altruism, establish correct views of life, and believe in karma and rebirth. He emphasized the equal importance of study, contemplation, and meditation, advocating for understanding emptiness in view while benefiting all sentient beings in action.
