Modern people face more disasters due to excessive exploitation of nature and inflated desires, emphasizing the use of Buddhist concepts of impermanence and the power of faith to confront difficulties. The Khenpo believes that true help is not only material assistance but also requires spiritual guidance, suggesting cultivating inner calmness and strength through meditation, prayer and other methods, maintaining awareness, and reducing greed.
