How Buddhism Would Inspire Psychological Research of Subjective Well-Being

He introduced Buddhism's unique analysis of consciousness, including the functions of the five sense consciousnesses and mental consciousness; explained two sources of happiness - hedonistic and life-meaning types; emphasized that happiness is primarily established by the mind. The Khenpo proposed three suggestions: cherishing the present through contemplating life and death, contentment with few desires, and observing the nature of mind to enhance happiness. Recognizing the mind's nature can achieve eternal bliss transcending suffering and joy.
