Using Milarepa as an example, he expounded on the five characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism's modernity: reverence for teachers, strong logical foundation, systematic and progressive nature, emphasis on actual practice and realization, and strong practicality. He emphasized that Tibetan Buddhism values not only theoretical research but also practical cultivation, effectively addressing modern people's spiritual issues, which is a key reason for its global popularity.
